Hi, I’m Denise
I am a therapist and entrepreneur, clinic owner, published author, and creator of speech therapy materials. I published Impossible R Made Possible in book form in 2016, and in 2020 I launched it as online video course. I also host the podcast and blog, The Speech Umbrella.
I graduated with my Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from Idaho State University. Since that time, I’ve worked in public schools, child development centers, home-based birth to three, and private practice. I operate my private clinic, Timpanogos Speech Clinic, in the beautiful valley of Highland, Utah.
My professional areas of interest include apraxia and other speech sound disorders, myofunctional disorders, autism, stuttering, language disorders, and reading and writing disorders. I’m PROMPT trained and certified in Hanen More Than Words. I’m also certified by the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy.
